Not a summary of what we did. The actual build doc we wrote while doing it: the deliverability test, the pop-up sequence that holds a 17%+ opt-in rate, the emails we sent, and the checklist that keeps you from turning things on in the wrong order.
In your inbox within seconds. Read it tonight, run it tomorrow.
That didn’t go through. Try again in a second.
You’ll get the playbook plus the CPG email breakdowns and text drops we send after it. Unsubscribe from either whenever you want.
It’s on its way to you right now.
Six things, in the order you run them. Every one of them is something we did on a real brand, not something we read about.
How to run a real inbox placement test on your own campaign, then the ladder that tells you what to do with the number: 30%+ spam, stop and warm. 20 to 30, cut volume to engaged only. 5 to 20, tighten to 90-day openers. Under 5, keep sending. Most brands have never looked at this once.
The Klaviyo 30-day baseline you record before you touch anything, starting with the only one that actually matters: percent of store revenue attributed to email and SMS. Without this you can’t prove any of it worked.
Online, 10 to 12% opt-in gets called great. This sequence holds 17%+. You get every setting: the trigger delay, where the close button goes, the microcommit question that opens it, and why the discount code never shows up on the form itself.
Sent from a person, lowercase subject, plain text, a random-looking code, offer above the founder story. Plus the two lines at the bottom that pull two separate deliverability signals out of a single send.
Zero links, zero images, no offer, sent only to your 14-day clickers. It might be 300 people out of 40,000 and that is the point. This is the send that drags a cold sender back into the primary inbox. Then retest five days later and put the two side by side.
Everything in order, including the one thing that has to exist before the pop-up goes live. Skip it and people opt in, get promised a discount, and receive nothing. We nearly did it ourselves.
CPG brands on Shopify running Klaviyo. If you are doing real revenue and email and SMS are still sitting under 20% of it, this is the widest gap in your business and the cheapest one to close. If you have never sent a campaign and have no list yet, start with the pop-up section and ignore the rest until you do.
The speedrun is the whole system written down and it is yours for free. If you would rather not spend the next 17 days in Klaviyo yourself, we take on three to five clients a month and build the entire engine for you.
